About Us

This is the original and authentic Food Channel in Australia..

Founded in 1997, The Food Channel utilises the internet and television as the medium for distributing multimedia productions.

The Food Channel uses the internet and television as a major part of its strategy to export, distribute and promote Wa-gyu beef.

Companies and Government agencies can use The Food Channel to promote their products, services and regions.

The Food Channel now invites Australian companies to share this exciting and groundbreaking opportunity to increase brand awareness and market share of their products destined for the Hotels, Supermarkets, Restaurants and Dining tables of Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

If you have a product or service in the Food Value Chain including food, cooking, wine, tourism, agriculture or education, then we want to hear from you.

We can help you boost market awareness of your products and in doing so, achieve our common goal of promoting Australian Food products and services throughout the world to increase trade opportunities.

At The Food Channel, we are not just a media company. We are a company that utilises television and the internet to market and promote food. We have a thorough understanding of and an intimate knowledge of food and hospitality as we have been in the food industry for well over 20 years.

Seared John Dory with fresh Shitake mushrooms over a bed of crushed peas.

Here is a simple dish created by Mr Danny Teng (teppan seared John Dory layered with fresh shitake mushrooms over a bed of peas) who is one of the leading chefs in Taiwan. He is also a major advocate of Australian Wagyu beef. Danny was recently performing cooking demonstrations with The Food Channel at the "Taste of Australia" promotion in Taiwan's leading western style supermarket, Jason's marketplace.

Danny is the Executive Chef at Sonoma International Restaurants in Taiwan. Although Wagyu is highly marbled with flavour and tenderness, Danny believes the beef should age for at least a month before it is cooked and this will provide a premium tenderness and flavour for his customers.

Born in Malaysia to a Chinese Father and Singhalese mother, savour the flavour of Delilah's  delicious and mouthwatering treats  as she brings them into your home with "Delicacies by Delilah". The flavours will have you captured and so will Delilah.
